About Andrew Lasaitis
Andrew Lasaitis, owner and principal of Professional Tutoring Centres at Hurstville and now Gladesville, has taught in secondary schools for over 12 years, and is currently teaching in a metropolitan high school in Sydney's north.
He has published teacher resources, coordinated Public Speaking and Debating at State and/ Regional levels, and implemented Special Education and acceleration programs in NSW Schools. Andrew was also involved in the drafting of the Stage 6 English Syllabus and has both convened and presented at in-service courses for teachers and students.
Andrew has developed programs specifically for tutoring at Professional Tutoring Centres, including exam preparation and study skills. Along with programs established by Marilyn and Wally Howe, founders of PTCH, and with an emphasis on the unique and dynamic nature of student learning, tutoring at Professional Tutoring Centres provides personalised and dedicated programs specific to each student.
